Al Williams- Vocals
"You have to give the people what they want- Without your audience, you are nothing"
The voice that fills a room from the first note. Al has been entertaining audiences with his energetic performances for over 40 years. Not just a singer, a true showman in the style of R&B legends such as Jackie Wilson, James Brown, Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett. Al is also a 1999 inductee into the Beach Music Hall of Fame

Laurie Capparella-Vocals, Percussion, Harmonica
"I want to put some soul in your heart and some funk in your trunk"
A versatile voice that stands on its own or is the perfect compliment to the power of Al. A fabulous all around musician, Laurie also plays guitar and keyboards and is always tasteful in her instrumental contributions to the band. She has been a member of several local bands and even formed and fronted her own original project "Electric Mistress".

Mike Kiorpes-Drums,Vocals
"There's nothing I enjoy more than seeing the audience bouncing to our tunes" Mike's musical interest comes honest as he was raised in a family of musicians that were all classically trained on the piano. Mike has played in touring bands, local acts and has even played for Chuck Berry. Mike also loves to collect vintage drums and other instruments.

Mike Parks-Bass,Vocals
"Quanda badda!" Mike is a very familiar face on any stage. Rock, Jazz, R&B and Funk are Mike's playgrounds. Always in demand for his quick ear and sense of harmony, he has also played with such legends as Martha Reeves (Martha and the Vandellas) and The 4 Aces

Scott Miller- Guitar,Vocals
Scotty Miller is a 20 year veteran of the Raleigh music scene, having been a member of such seminal Triangle bands as Six String Drag, Terry Anderson's Olympic Ass Kickin Team, the Whistlestop, the Steve Howell Band, Southern Line, and Countdown Quartet, to name just a few. He has also played on many recordings as a studio guitarist. But what he loves most is to perform in front of a live audience, and being in the Al Williams Band gives him ample opportunity for that! He loves playing the fun, high-energy mix of dance tunes that the band performs, and always strives to make sure that the audience is having as much fun as he is.

Brian McFadden- Keyboard, Guitar, Vocals
at the tender age of 8, brian began playing guitar and piano by ear until he found it was much easier to use his fingers. A north carolina native, “B- Mac” was a voice on the radio around here for over 25 years with WQDR and WRDU in their rock and roll glory days. Aside from playing with the Al Williams Band, Brian‘s fave things include dogs, old cars, old guitars, and food.
